PII-Shield
Use AI without losing control over data
PII-Shield is TukForce AI’s privacy-first direction for keeping sensitive information local, shielded or pseudonymized before AI models are used. It is not a magic guarantee, but a design approach for more control.
Why
Privacy is a prerequisite, not an appendix
In care, wellbeing, education and social services, AI can only be responsible when it is clear which data is needed, where it stays and how people keep control.
Data minimization
First decide which data is truly needed and which information can stay outside the AI flow.
Shielding
Where useful, separate, mask or pseudonymize sensitive fields before external models are used.
Local options
Assess whether local or private processing fits the use case, risk level and budget.
Approach
From risk to design choice
PII-Shield starts with process insight. Then each information flow gets a deliberate choice: do not send, remove, mask, process locally or pass through with explicit control.
Honest framing
No overclaim, better choices
Not every AI process can or should be fully local. The PII-Shield approach is in development to make clear decisions per situation, make risks explicit and keep systems explainable.
