“Could just the first two items arrive on Friday? The rest on Monday, please.”
A short message. Its meaning is probably clear to the sender. For the recipient, the questions begin: which order does it concern, what was agreed, and is the change still possible?
This is a fictional example, not a TukForce project. It raises a question many organizations may recognize: how much work happens between receiving information and making a sound decision?
TukForce will investigate where software could support that work more effectively.
The work between the lines
A screen shows a request, document or task. The information needed to move forward is not always in the same place. A colleague knows why an exception was made. An agreement is in an earlier message. An important detail came up during a meeting.
Someone has to bring those pieces together before work can continue. That takes attention, even when it never appears as a separate task in the schedule.
That attention could also go towards a customer, project or social mission. TukForce will explore where software can make a useful contribution, and where a conversation or human judgement remains essential.
A familiar situation as a starting point
AI opens new possibilities. Their value becomes clear in the work they are intended to support.
Could an employee find the right information sooner? Could a missing detail become easier to notice? Would there be more time to consider a decision carefully?
These are questions to investigate. The answers depend on the application, the people using it and the consequences of a misunderstanding. An appealing idea does not automatically become a useful product.
A modest improvement can also matter. Removing one recurring obstacle may be more valuable than changing an entire way of working. TukForce will investigate which product directions could make that difference.
What does an application not need to know?
Whenever information is used, there is also a question about what to share. A customer message, case file or note can contain personal details that are unnecessary for a particular task.
That tension is the starting point for PII-Shield, TukForce’s first product direction. The aim is to explore possibilities for AI use with care for sensitive information.
PII-Shield is still in development. A software foundation exists, but its quality and suitability for customer use still need to be demonstrated. The product name does not guarantee that every sensitive detail will be detected or that an organization will automatically comply with privacy rules.
This website will explain what the direction could mean for a specific application when there are supported findings to share.
From project work to reporting
A second question arises when an approved project needs to be accounted for. Activities have taken place and documents have been collected. Which information supports the report, and what is still missing?
Grant Evidence Helper is a product idea around that challenge. TukForce will investigate whether software could offer a clearer overview when reporting on projects after a grant has been approved.
What would a project lead want to see earlier? What makes the records understandable to someone who was not involved every day? Where does the search start over each time?
These questions are the starting point. The product still needs to be developed and built. Final responsibility for reviewing the records remains with people.
A development to follow
TukForce is in preparation. The start is planned for this autumn. Projects, pilots and schedules cannot yet be promised.
This journal begins with the questions behind the company. Explorations, product decisions and lessons from actual work will follow when there are meaningful findings to share. A finding that changes an earlier expectation can be interesting too.
The articles will show which question is being investigated, why it matters and what remains open. The development of TukForce will become visible step by step.
The ambition is to develop software that makes room for meaningful work. For businesses, social organizations and software makers, with care for people, animals, nature and the climate. The application determines what contribution is possible.
Which challenge looks familiar?
Perhaps the information exists, but making use of it still takes a great deal of effort. Perhaps an important detail keeps getting lost, or a team has to repeat the same search.
TukForce welcomes those questions and experiences. A general description is enough; confidential documents and personal information are unnecessary for an introductory message.
Share your question or interest. There is no need for a fully developed proposal. A recognizable situation can help focus the research on something that matters in practice.
This is the beginning. New insights will appear here when there is something to share.
